The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) is a non-profit association under the 1901 law. Built on the principle of each member having an equal voice, it defends and promotes the unique skills of the professions of winemaking, the négoce trade and vine growing, the heritage of a shared passion.
The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) is delighted to invite you to an immersive training session in partnership with SommFoundation.
Bourgogne is renowned worldwide for producing some of the finest wines with its unique terroir and savoir-faire, which are apparent in each of our 84 appellations. While many of these appellations are iconic, some are still yet to be fully recognized and brought to light.
Join Master Sommelier Thomas Price, and local Bourgogne Wine Ambassador, to rediscover Bourgogne through a selection of appellations, which can be described as the first step towards the notion of terroir. It will give you the keys to understand the added value that these appellations can bring to your portfolio.
Following the workshop, there will be a quiz to put your newly acquired knowledge to the test and accumulate points for an opportunity to win a $2,000 scholarship! Second and third place participants will receive a distinguished selection of Bourgogne wines.
